The design features a silhouette of Dame Shirley highlighted in gold colour and her name in 1970s typography with ‘confetti’ stardust effect in the lettering.
The coin is presented beneath all eight new Special Stamps cancelled with a special edition diamond postmark in tribute to her iconic theme song ‘Diamonds are Forever’.
Her hometown Cardiff has been chosen as the postmark location.
