Royal Mail celebrates Christmas 2022 with a series of six stamps, exclusively designed by artist Katie Ponder.
The elegant designs reflect her unique style, with a fresh and contemporary feel which at the same time includes references to art deco to add a timeless quality to this retelling of the classic Nativity story.
This year marks the first time Royal Mail has issued a fully barcoded festive stamps set – an innovative addition and a major milestone.
The images focus on the key moments from the traditional Christmas story including the journey to Bethlehem and the Magi following the star.
One Second Class, one Second Class Large, one First Class, one First Class Large, one £1.85 and one £2.55 portrait stamps.
All stamps are fully barcoded – the first Christmas stamp issue to have the new barcodes.
