Your First Day Cover is personalised with the name and address and of your choice.

Each stamp depicts a key moment in Arthurian legend in a new illustration by artist Jaime Jones.

Characters and scenes include Guinevere, Merlin, the Knights of the Round Table, Sir Lancelot defeating the dragon and Sir Galahad encountering the Holy Grail.

Choose from two special edition postmarks to make this a truly customised collectible.

The Tallents House postmark features King Arthur’s Excalibur sword being raised from the water. The alternative postmark contains the words ‘King Arthur’ in a stylised font. According to Thomas Malory’s Le Morte Darthur – one of the best-known accounts of the legends – Camelot is in Winchester, which has been chosen as the alternative postmark location.

The First Day envelope features the issue’s title set against an illustration of the sword in the stone.

An information card reveals the story behind each illustration and the inspiration for the stamp issue.
