A limited edition souvenir celebrating the astonishing solo career of a UK music legend.
The plectrum-shaped medal struck by The Royal Mint is the first of its kind and features a Höfner bass guitar on the front and Paul McCartney's signature on the reverse.
The medal is produced using .925 Ag Sterling Silver and specially polished dies to achieve a stunning mirrored and frosted finish to the design.
The Miniature Sheet’s four stamps feature rare photographs of McCartney in the recording studio.
The stamps are cancelled with a special edition postmark featuring a Höfner bass guitar and the location Campbeltown, which is close to McCartney's home in Scotland.
The richly illustrated pack explores the importance of McCartney's DIY home studio recording sessions and his desire to push himself outside of his comfort zone in search of new sounds and styles.
