The First Day Cover includes an information card giving a brief history of the Hornby brand.
The alternative postmark depicts a display counter stand featuring a boy holding the Hornby logo and has the postmark location Liverpool, founder Frank Hornby’s hometown and birthplace of Hornby Hobbies.
