The four First Class stamps, featuring original designs from the 1969 First Flight of Concorde issue, are cancelled with the alternative postmark on the first day of issue.
It includes the information card containing details of the stamp issue.
The alternative postmark includes an illustration of Concorde overlaid on the number 50, and the location of Filton, Bristol, where Britain’s Concorde’s were designed, built and tested.

1. Concorde, captured by David Gentleman in his design for the original 9d stamp.
2. David Gentleman highlighted the sleek lines of Concorde on the 1969 1s 6d stamp.
3. Concorde in flight over the British Isles and France by Michael and Sylvia Goaman on the 1969 4d stamp.
4. David Gentleman’s third shortlisted submission, which originally featured the unadopted English spelling of ‘Concord’.
