In 2017 London will get its first new, national museum in over a decade The Postal Museum. Royal Mail have worked together with the Museum to produce a stamp sheet to commemorate this event.
Comprises 10 Fireworks stamps with adjoining labels that celebrate 150 years since Canada’s confederation. Limited edition of 5,000.
Royal Mail issue this Exhibition sheet to promote and celebrate the FINLANDIA 2017 event in Tampere, Finland which takes place 24th May through to 28th May at the Tampere-Hall in Tampere. The sheet features the definitive size Hello stamp, as used in the Melbourne, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, London and New York sheets and features images that represent the architecture and culture of the host city.
The Stamp Set features all six pictorial Post & Go stamps, overprinted with First Class values and presented on a richly illustrated information card. The reverse offers a fascinating commentary by Julian Stray of The Postal Museum.
