Looking for the Personal shop?
The royalmail.com shop sells a wide range of products. These product fall into 2 main types. ‘Business products’, ‘Personal Products'
Each of these product types are governed by their own terms and conditions and often have differing delivery timescales, due to product availability.
1. Delivered in 1 - 2 days
Business Products – Next Day Delivery
Business products are located in the Business Shop and can be easily identified by the ‘Delivered in 1-2 days’ message in the product description.
Business products are despatched via Special Delivery. If we receive your order before 4pm, these items will be sent out the same day and will arrive at their destination by 1pm, the following working day.
Products purchased in these categories carry a standard delivery charge of £4.10, however, if more than £35.00 worth of business products are ordered, then delivery is free of charge.
Address Management Products – Next Day Delivery
Address Management products are located in the Address Management category.
Address Management products are despatched via Royal Mail's first class service. If we receive your order before 6pm, these items will be sent out the same day and should arrive at their destination the next working day. Postage and Packing charges are included within the cost.
Self Adhesive Label Products
Self Adhesive Label products are located in the Self Adhesive Label category.
Label products are dispatched via First Class post. If we receive your order before 5pm we will dispatch these products the same day. Postage and Packing charges are included.
Postal Stationery Products
Postal Stationery products are located in the Postal Stationery Category.
Stationery products, including mailing boxes, polythene envelopes, standard envelopes and bubble bags are dispatched via either our Parcelforce 24 or Royal Mail First Class service and delivery should be within 1-2 days.
Please note that in some instances Stationery Products may be dispatched separately to the rest of the products in your order.
2. Despatched in 5 working days
Personal Products – Despatched in 5 Working Days
Personal products are located in the following categories: Stamps, collectibles & gifts and can be identified by the ‘Despatched in 5 working days’ message in the product description.
Due to the specialist nature of these products your order will be despatched to you in 5 working days of receipt of your order. Personal products are dispatched via First Class post.
The delivery charge for a ‘personal’ order is determined by its weight and size.
Items like Presentation Packs and Special Stamps are standard.Items like Albums and Binders are classified as ‘bulky'.
Charges for standard items
For each order placed for a standard item, there is a packing charge of £1 payable plus a postage element dependent on destination. The total charges are:

This delivery charge applies regardless of the number of standard items in your order. For example, if you buy four standard items in the same order, you will only pay a single delivery charge.
Charges for bulky items
A combined delivery charge is made dependent on destination for each order for a bulky item. Bulky items are generally objects that do not fit into envelopes – things like albums and framed products.

The delivery charge applies regardless of the number of bulky items in your order. For example, if you buy two bulky items in the same order, you only pay a single delivery charge.
Combined orders (standard & bulky)
If you place an order that contains both standard and bulky items, then delivery charges for bulky categories apply.
For example, if you make an order for any number of standard items and any number of bulky items, a single delivery charge is made per order, per address. The bulky handling fee will apply to mixed orders where at least one of the products is a bulky item.
